The Nike dunk was introduced by Nike in 1985 as a brother shoe to the Nike Terminator, which differed from the dunk by its large logo on the side. It was not until the Dunk shoes reintroduction in 1998 that it became a fashionable show with skaters, sports stars, hipsters, and teenagers.
